Rare Raphael Tuck & Son's Ltd. No.4050. 'Little People's Picture Making' 'Alice in Wonderland', C.1920, Designed in England, Printed in Holland.
A Book with 4 Story Telling/Making pages and 19 card characters/figures. All card figures stand upright within the space between a card divide/support at the base.
20 cm x 28 with card story figures loose or placed in card slot/divide for holding in place on each of the 4 cards.
There are three of the 22 characters/figures mentioned/listed missing but still seem to be a lot and most there.
The characters are listed in the book and displayed on the back.
An ear is missing on the white rabbit with fan and another ear just holding, on the March Hare; the cook, the Bill the Lizard and duck missing otherwise card characters seem reasonable.
The 4 card pages were originally perforated close to the spine to be torn out which is the case with this book and all 4 are now loose.
Book cover is dusty and a little grubby with some creasing and wear on corners and edges etc. Some wear at the bottom of the spine.
The card picture and story pages have also darkened a little with age etc although there are no hand written inscriptions or markings.
