…this being a selection of 70 plays, musicals, ballets, toy theatres, songs, song cycles and performances of work by different artists based on the work of Charles L. Dodgson, 1875–1996, and pieced together over the past year and a half…
The selection includes some of the best-known classic dramatic iterations of Dodgson's work together with more obscure and unusual pieces. As much as possible the list is in chronological order for each section. The first section mainly comprises plays; the second section, songs and musical interpretations based on the books; and the final short section contains some toy theatre sheets.
